Flight’s Schedule
Warszawa Modlin – Barcelona El Prat 06:10 – 09:10Barcelona El Prat – Warszawa Modlin 09:45 – 12:55Airline: WizzairNote: Flight times depend on the airline and are subject to change.Luggage limit: 32 kg of registered luggage + 10 kg of cabin luggage.
Day 1Meeting in front of Tourist Information at Warsaw Modlin airport. Time for check-in and direct flight to Barcelona El Prat.
Transfer to the city center and a short tour:•Famous La Rambla Street - considered as the most beautiful street in Europe, connecting Placa Catalunya with Christopher Columbus Monument; Port Vell – beautiful old harbor and Rambla del Mar – wooden pedestrian walkway with an interesting swing bridge, which allows ships to enter the harbor.
Transfer to the hotel in the afternoon. Check-in and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.
Day 2Transfer to Barcelona after breakfast. Sightseeing:
•A walk through the narrow streets of Barri Gotic (The Gotic Quarter) to the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia – one of the most beautiful gothic monuments in Spain; on the way, visit of the Placa Reial and Placa de Sant Jaume where the Townhall and the Generalitat’s Palace are located,•Medieval district of La Ribera – visit of the Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar dedicated to the patron of the city and famous for the bestseller „Cathedral of the Sea” by Ildefonso Falcones; on the way, view of the beautiful medieval palaces in the quarter Carrer de Montcada.
Return to the hotel in the evening, dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.
Day 3Transfer to Barcelona after breakfast. Sightseeing in the footsteps of Antonio Gaudi:
•garden complex of Parc Guell with its Hypostyle Room with the unique serpentine bench on its roof, „El Drac” – multicolored mosaic salamander, one of the symbols of Barcelona;•Sagrada Familia Church – still incomplete, but surely the most extraordinary church in the country; •Eixample Quarter and Passeig de Gracia, where two most important Gaudi’s hauses are located: Casa Mila with its famous roof and the colorful UNESCO site - Casa Batllo.
Return to the hotel in the evening, dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.
Day 4Transfer to Barcelona after breakfast. Sightseeing:
•Arc de Triomfe built in reddish brickwork in the Neo Mudejar Style, •Parc de la Ciutadella, where colorful parrots live and orange trees grow, •Montjuic Hill and olympic stadium, •Placa de Espana with Jujol’s fountain and two venice towers.
• Visit at Camp Nou – legendary stadium of FC Barcelona.
Return to the hotel in the evening, dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.
Day 5
Check-out after breakfast, transfer to the airport. Check-in and direct flight to Warsaw Modlin.
ACCOMODATION:
Accomodation in 4* hotel Calella Palace in Calella on Costa Del Maresme. Twin rooms with WC/shower, TV and telephone.Buffet breakfasts and dinners are served in the hotel. H Top Calella Palace offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a whirlpool and a rooftop sun terrace. This modern hotel is 600 metres from Calella Beach, on Catalonia’s Costa Maresme.Rooms at the Calella Palace are bright and air-conditioned, with a balcony and satellite TV. All have a private bathroom with a hairdryer.H Top Calella’s buffet restaurant serves local and international dishes. The lively town of Lloret de Mar is 20 km from Calella. Girona Airport is 40 km away and Barcelona is 1 hour away by train. The hotel has a kids club and arranges daytime activities and sports. There are also live shows and music each evening.
NOTES:
The order of sightseeing may change. Tour-leader doesn’t guide the group around interiors of the museums. Airport transfers are carried out by bus. Transfers to/ from Barcelona are carried out by suburban railway.
