Es en la arena - mira el piélago enardecido - ; ora la planicie gris, ora lo plano y sepia... y sepia y sepia y sepia.
Es en la arena; vanse los pies, deslízanse calculan el humor, la impaciencia, tanta ternura en granulos, polvo acontecido.
Es en la arena; va el cuerpo desde mis ojos dentro de mis ojos en mis ojos el blanco fantasma : flotante, entristeciendo en redor, traje de espuma y nube, la cabellera al aire, al vientecillo, osada.
Es en la arena; y me mira me mira y el encanto no se borra desdice del pasado : no, a Heráclito, no, al devenir, no, a la muerte.
