Robustness, modularity, sealing, speed / ease of installation, availability of a wide range of colors and increased recyclability of materials, are some of the features that make our unique solutions.

The core idea is that ceramics is just the ‘skin’ of products such as the photovoltaic panel. The thinner the skin is, the more can be sent by truck, thus proportionately reducing storage and transport costs and, more importantly, inputs of clay and gas.

The PWRslate photovoltaic module is supported by an ultra-thin drilled large ceramic sheeet produced by Laminam electrical circuits, strings of photovoltaic cells in two sheets of transparent encapsulant – a PVB-derived resin – and protected by a tempered solar glass. These components are welded and, thanks to the properties of PVB, can be separated out at the end of its life and fully recycled. Similarly, components in modules failing the quality tests are easily retrieved and re-used.

Fulfilling all the requirements in terms of mechanical strength and sealing the PWRSlates modules can be mounted on a traditional siding when installed in front.

Depending on the configuration and architectural wishes, different mounting systems are possible.

The photovoltaic tiles PWRSlates were designed to substitute or integrate traditional roofs, maintaining and improving their functionality insulation and protection.

Size 1000x750 mm, they are particularly suitable for installation in "cascade". It is therefore the ideal choice for producing a photovoltaic roof, without compromise between aesthetics and functionality.

With adjustable rails and adjustable mounting brackets, it is very easy to install the tiles by placing them on the existing structure.

The PWRSlates tiles ensure complete sealing up an incline of 15 °. Note that it is possible to walk on the roof, which is unthinkable with traditional photovoltaic panels.

PWRSlates tiles can be easily mounted on a wooden frame of concrete beams with or without protective sheath and the like.

Unlike traditional assembly systems, in normal conditions of installation, our mounting system requires no additional screw fixation, which avoids compromising the sealing of the roof.
