    Subj-eet attended and spoke at a demonstration held on the campus of f.tarquette uni:versi ty" l i ilwaukee" Wisconsin, on September 26, 1970, The demonstration was sponsored in part by the Revolutionary Youth Movement and the YIP-!'Jhi to Panther Party" The demonstration consisted of querrilla theater and speeches. Subject was introduced as a loader of the YIP. She spoke about North Vietnam and in her remarks. she: had complete praise for that country. She announced that a demonstration would be held in NOC on the weekend of October 3, 1970 and she urged everyone oresent at. the demonstrntion to participate. Subject indicatoo she had to be carp.ful in her remarks because she couTd':"be prosecuted if she said "anything wrong".

RUBIN was one of eight persons indicted by the Federal Grand Jury, Northern District of Illinois (NDl), Chicago, Illinois, March, 1969, regarding Anti-Riot Law violations in conju9Ction with his activities durin~ the Democratic NJtional Convention, Chicago, Illinois, :\II A~t, 1968,,,, On February 18, 1970, RUBIN was f""nd lf1ilty in Ii" United States District Court (USOC), 1>01, 'fot' violating the Anti-Riot Law statute in that he did travel in interstate commerce from outside the $ta~ of Illinois to Chicago. Illinois with intent to incite. or~anize, promote~ and encourage • riot On or about\ AUl\Ust 26, 1968, and Au'lust 27~ 1968. On February 120, 1970, RUBIN was sentenced to five years impriso~ent and fined $5000 plus payment of court costs. The article in part doscrihed JUllY GUJ.nJO "s stat in~ that they were being framed by the Government for an ect committed by members of the Weatherman undar~round (Weatherman Faction of SDS).     This article also revealed JUDY GUMBO would rafuse to testify he fore a Federal Grand Jury in New York City which she )..ad been subject to appear before.

    Weathermgn. formerly 8 faction of Students for a Democratic Societ)' (SOS). controlled the SDS National Office from June, 1969, uncil its closin~ in February, 1970. Internal factionalism during 1969 produced three main factions: '''eatherman, Revolutionary Youth Hov"",,,nt (RYM). and Worker Stuoent Alliance (\~SA). The Ileatherman and RYH no lon'ter consider themselves associated with the SDS. The WSA faction continues to use the name 5DS.
