I. French 1 Syllabus.
A. Preparation - To be completed before the first semester starts.
Objective: to become familiar with the textbook, to get some background on French in the United
States, and to understand the basics of the Supersite and the Cahier Interactif.
1. Please read pages x-xxix in your D'accord 1 textbook. This is an introduction to French
learning and to D'accord.
2. Please go to [<www.vhlcentral.com>|www.vhlcentral.com] and watch the Student Guided
Tour video and look though the Student User Guide PDF file.
3. Please make sure that you register for your section on VHL so that I receive your
homework. Here is the guide to student registration on the VHL Supersite
