I cant SwimI cant Swim

A long time ago a King named Jagadeep. He was a great king of the city of  Mohenjo-Daro. Jagadeep was once a great naval captain but his career ended in a flash when his boat hit rocks.

The Boat cracked in half and many of the men didn’t make it. Unfortunately, Jagadeep couldn’t swim and he sank to the bottom of the ocean. His heart had stopped beating and he had died.

The God of Water, Varuna came across him and revived him and brought him to the shore of a river and told him to build a city at this very site.

Jagadeep obeyed the gods orders and built the city in 5 days. Nearly 21 years had past and that day when his ship crash still haunted his dreams. He never got around to learning how to swim but he still gazed out at the water, fearing it but had the need to conquer it.

When word got out that Jagadeep could not swim he was embarrassed and ashamed. He needed a way to conquer the water but he needed somewhere to practice and the river was to daunting for him to enter.

He had the finest craftsmen to come and design him a man made private lake, or a “pool”. This “Pool” was a engineering masterpiece. It pumped in freshwater from the river and was very relaxing.

Jagadeep practiced 24/7 and finally had mastered the art of swimming. He knew he was ready for the real test. The people gave him a test to see if he could accomplish it. They set a raft in the middle of the river and Jagadeep would have to swim out and bring it back to shore.

The day came and Jagadeep was ready to swim. He was signaled to start he swam to the raft grabbed the rope and brought it all the way to shore. He was cheered on and felt victorious.

Jagadeep entered many other races and won them all but during his 21st race he suffered from a cramp and sank to the bottom and died.
