How to respond to the person who says, "I don't believe in the Bible."

• Such an objection can be turned into an opportunity for the Gospel

• The Bible says “...the gospel is the power of God unto salvation…”

• The word power as used here is the Greek word "dun a mis" from which we get our English word DYNAMITE!

How to respond to the person who says, "I don't believe in the Bible."

1. I believe you have a right not to believe in the Bible. In fact I would fight for that right.

2. If you don’t believe the bible, that means you must understand it, so what then do YOU think the Bible’s main point is?

How to respond to the person who says, "I don't believe in the Bible."

3. That is exactly what I was afraid of. You have rejected the Bible and have done so without understanding its main message.

4. Now don’t you think the more intelligent thing to do would be to let me share with you the Bible's main message, how a person can have eternal life? Then you can make an educated decision about accepting or rejecting it.
