Introduction to Hyundai

Hyundai is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer.

Hyundai headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. The company was founded in 1967.

Along with its 32.8% owned subsidiary, Kia Motors, together comprise the Hyundai Motor Group.

As of 2012, the Company sold over 4.4 million vehicles worldwide in that year.

Hyundai is currently the fourth largest vehicle manufacturer in the world.

Hyundai has an annual production capacity of 1.6 million units.

The company employs about 94,000 people worldwide.

Their global design network draws upon inspiration from major cities in USA, Europe, Japan, china and India which predicts and lead worldwide trends.They also develop technologies to achieve zero emissions and improve eco-friendliness of the cars. By using direct injection systems to reduce emissions in gasoline engines and high-efficiency transmissions that deliver low fuel consumption. Also with their advance strength high steels that helps to reduce the weight of vehicles.

This provided Hyundai a competitive edge when compared to competitors.Price : Hyundai offers premium quality vehicles at less premium prices.

In 2010 Hyundai was ranked the 4th best automakers in USA & Germany.Hyundai Tucson and Sonata have earned a 2015 top ranked safety pick+ rating in testing conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS)

Support Services ComponentFor more than a decade, Hyundai has been the leading industry with America’ best warranty. (10 years or 100,000 miles)They also introduced the Hyundai HPP (Hyundai Protection Plan) which gave customers more reason why they should purchase their products. The plan is designed to protect the customer from unforeseen events and expenses resulting from everyday driving.They integrated a maintenance and quality control operations and established a quality control organization overseas. A 24-hour, 365-days-a-year “Global Quality Situation Room” was established in 2004 to enable the company to respond in real time to diverse quality problems that may arise anywhere in the world.
