Hyundai Motor Company visits SolBridge International School of Business On December 28, 2011 two members of the Human Resources Team of Hyundai Motors came to visit SolBridge. They sat in on two lectures: Human Resources Management taught by Abir Clark from Valparaiso University, Indiana and International Corporate Finance by Professor Prasad Padmanabhan from St, Mary’s University, San Antonia, Texas who is a Professor of Finance and Myra Stafford Pryor Chair of Free Enterprise (tenured) and Sam Walton Fellow. These representatives wanted to obtain a first hand experience of the classroom lectures. To their surprise and satisfaction the diversity of students attending the classes was noticeable and created a true multicultural environment that allows students to experience a cross cultural experience since they need to work in teams, and solve problems together with a desired outcome. About 20% of the student population at SolBridge are Korean students whose background is as diverse as they are. Some have completed high school overseas giving them a global mindset as well as fluency in English while others have the same fluency in English achieved through hard work by attending Foreign Language High Schools dispersed throughout Korea. The HR team from Hyundai Motors met with the Korean students in a session to find out directly from these students about their interests, their passion and the type of education they are receiving at SolBridge. In June 2012, SolBridge will graduate the first group of Korean students with a Bachelor of Business Administration since this business school opened its doors in 2007.

passion and the type of education they are receiving at SolBridge. In June 2012, SolBridge will graduate

the first group of Korean students with a Bachelor of Business Administration since this business school
