2009-2010 hyphenobjectives

Our 2009-2010 objectives are:1. To lead an organized national effort for Young Adultministry.We feel the role of the national ministry is to connect grass-rootsministries to each other.

2. To build a national Young Adult cultureWe will begin this process by having a Hyphen tour fall 2010.

3. To create and produce targeted Apostolic resources

We are in the process of putting resources on the website.

4. To equip local churches to start Young Adult ministriesWe have started a first step checklist and will continue tobuild a starter packet for a local church.

Each district structure will be left up to the respectivedistrict for at least the first two years. We will be glad tohelp facilitate while each local church and district finds itsappropriate Young Adult strategy.

Responsibilities:-Compile three resources a quarter from local churches in yourregion and send them to the web site.-Act as a liaison of the GYD and National Young Adult coordinatorin your region.

-.Connect with Youth Presidents within your region to provideresources from Hyphen.- Meet once a month via conference call (we have one local guestto discuss YA ministry)-Write one article or resource a quarter in the area of young adultministry.

Our role is to assist the local church, local district, and localleadership. Our goal is to respect the Local Districts objectivesand needs. Therefore, we serve as a resource, but will workthrough local channels.
