PLANTING Remove 2 small pots first, and Fill water to the level mentioned inside the basin.

Open the lid, and remove the white sponge/spacer seen on top

Add seeds and plant in the planting medium (clay pallets) al-ready provided inside the pots. Close the top lid. Bury your seeds about an inch underneath the planting medium.

HOW TO USE GROW LIGHT

Beeping Sound: To automatically remind you that the water level is very low. Please refil water.

Recommend using the Grow light mode (Pink tint LED) throughout your growing period. The White LED light, produces higher energy, similar to a table lamp. If you turn it ON, please switch it back to Grow light (Pink) mode after 4-6 hours to best support your plants.

1. Disconnect before you clean your equipment, disconnect it from the electrical outlet.

2. Unplug Hydroponic garden from outlet before putting on or taking off parts.

3. Closely supervise your Hydroponic garden and its plant growth progress. Do not leave it unattended if you will be away for more than 2-3 days continuously. Consider leaving at a friend’s care.

4. Use Hydroponic garden only for its intended use as described in the instructions.

5. Never continue to operate if the unit appear damaged or is not working properly.

6. Keep the Hydroponic and cords away from heated surfaces. 7. Do not plug-in or operate this product if the power cord, plug or the area

you’re operating is wet. Water must remain inside the basin only. Keep rest of the area (Counter, Table, etc) Dry.

8. Do not use outdoors and do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used

9. Do not touch moving parts or hot parts such as pumps, bulbs, and reflective surfaces

10. Do not place or submerse base, cord, plug, or lamp hood in water or other liquid to clean it.

11. Do not allow water to contact hot LED lights or parts connected to it. LED housing must stay warm to provide temperature support to plants.

12. This unit is intended for household and residential use only.13. Electrical wiring must be in accordance with local regulations. 14. Children should not operate this product, neither this is a toy.

Recommended Growing MediumsThere are many choices including Vermiculite, Grow Rock, Growstones , clay pebbles, Clay pellets, LECA (Hydroton), coco coir, Perlite (or silica). You may purchase pH meter or pH measuring system online or nurseries.

Recommended Nutrients

Hydroponic systems may require extra nutrients /fertilizer for optimum results. Ex. FloraDuo A & B by General Hydroponics.

Check salt levels

Since fertilizers are salts, its recommended to use a salt meter to measure the salt level in your system. Meter can be purchased online or at garden centers. The fertilizer salts will get diluted as more water is added. When the salt level drops below 500 ppm, its safer to add additional liquid nutrients. Re-check and if the salt level gets above 1200 ppm, add extra water or siphon half of the water out and then fill with new water and re-check the salt level. We suggest checking salt levels every 10 days to 2 weeks.

What about the pH?

pH is the measure of how acidic your water or soil is. Most plants grow best when the pH is between 5.5 and 6.5. When pH above or below this range will reduce the availability of some nutrients. The pH of water can easily be lowered by adding very small amounts of white vinegar, stirring well, and then rechecking the pH. You may purchase pH meter or pH measuring system online or nurseries. Ex. pH Control Kit General Hydroponics ( which contains both pH Down and a pH Up solutions for adjusting the pH).
