" That for the portion beginning from ' for obtaining the right of possession' and ending with 'sub-section (2) of section 12' substitute:

" as a price towards the inam land in his possession, such tenant shall be entitled to be registered as an ocdupant of the said land without being liable to pay any further amount for the said land and no such Inamdar shall be entitled to any further compensation for the said land ".

54 (1) No punishment of whipping shall be innicted in instalments or except in the presence of the Superintendent and Medical Omcer or his Subordinate.

(2) Whipping shall be inflicted with a light ratan and not less than half an inch in diameter on the tmr.tocks, and in case of prisioners under the age of sixteen it shall be infhcted in the wap of school discipline, with a lighter ratan.
