HWSA Fall/Winter 2020-21 Season Update Update 8/31/20: We are excited to announce that we will be starting the season on Monday 9/14. With D230 currently not allowing rentals in the high school due to COVID restrictions, our club cannot use Stagg High School at this time. We are pleased to announce that temporary home will be at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, 1250 W. 119th St., Chicago, IL 60643. Also starting in October Groups 4 and Elite will be utilizing Munster High School’s pool on Saturday and Sundays.

HWSA will be renting at the Kroc Center from 4p-7p Monday through Friday and from 2p-5p on Saturdays. The club will also run sanctioned time trials at the pool as well during the season just like we successfully did this summer at Palos Pool. Details about Group times and pricing will be published soon.

Just like this past Spring/Summer season, we will be doing temperature checks, maintaining social distancing, and wear masks to and from the facility.

Kroc Center pool is a 6 lane 25 yard competitive pool equipped with starting blocks and timing system. Pool is only 8 years old. HWSA contract runs through the whole Fall/Winter season. However note that if Stagg HS/D230 allows rentals back in the school, we will move back to Stagg HS at that time.

HWSA will be allowed to have 18 swimmers in the pool for each practice group. So please understand that we may have to limit our size of our groups. So when registration opens, please do not delay in signing up. Our goal is to safely accommodate as many swimmers as possible.
