Lets say you are ready to weave your next project. NOW. Where do you

start? As you sit in your studio or weaving room or weaving corner, what

you see is your stash. These are the yarns you have. If you leaf through your

magazines looking for ideas and inspiration, you are likely to need yarns you dont

have, delaying your project by many days. While you can look up table runner

or scarf in the Handwovenindex, you cant look up projects by the yarns they

use. We decided to do something about that.

This is the first eBook in our new Yarn Series. The projects in each of thesebooks all use the same yarn. Weve started with 10/2 cotton, one of the basic

staples on most weavers yarn shelves. Well follow with collections that use 8/2

and 5/2 cotton, several different wools, silk, Tencel, linen, and more. If you have a

particular yarn youd like us to feature, let us know at weavingtoday.com.
