SummaryAPG43 is an evolution of APG system, provided with higher modularity based at board level, which simplifies repair and spare part handling. APG43 can be co-located in the same eGEM magazine with APZ 212 55 .APG43 duplicated processor boards are equipped with an AMD Opteron single core microprocessor. Each of the duplicated hard disks provides up to 147 GB data storage.Flexible partitioning of the data disks ensures an efficient use of disk capacity. An optional alarm board for external alarms is available. As well, an optional rewritable dual layer DVD is available as external media. The principal idea for this evolution was improve de capacity comparing with the old equipment (APG40) and reduce totally the footprint, where the functions and commands is the same than APG40.
