HVC 4F - Important General Notes to Discharge

� Typical discharge performance data can be only reached with fully charged HVC Powercaps,

e.g. charged before with standard charge conditions (constant current (CC) – constant voltage

(CV) 30 min at Room Temperature (RT).

� Typical cut off voltage per cell at discharge is: 0.8 V

� For special applications a lower cut off voltage is feasible (e.g. for low temperatures and/or

high discharge currents). Please contact VARTA.

� Storage in deep discharge conditions has to be avoided, e.g. drain by an ohmic load. See also

our HVC Storage & Self-Discharge Information.

� Max. leakage current continuously: < 5 – 15 µA

Leakage currents by application (circuit board, etc.) need to be avoided or as low as possible

(e.g. by a controlled switch, a MOS-FET, etc.).
