Prepare for the summer heat and get a $25 rebate.You wouldn’t drive your car 100,000 miles without changing the oil. The same logic holds true for your HVAC system. Regular preventative maintenance is the best way to ensure trouble-free operation and peak performance. Proper maintenance can help to avoid a system failure in severe hot weather when you need it most, and it can also keep your energy bill from getting out of control.
Qualifying tune-ups include:
• Check and clean air filter as needed
• Check refrigerant level
• Inspect and lubricate bearings
• Inspect and clean condenser coil and, if accessible, evaporator coil
The contractor must document that each of these tasks has been performed and note “N/A” (not applicable) in cases where motors are permanently lubricated.

*The $25 rebate is for tune-ups of air source heat pumps and central air conditioning systems. Gas furnaces are not eligible unless part of a central air system. Customers with multiple systems are eligible for a rebate on each system that receives a tune-up. Systems maintained under a service agreement and tune-ups performed as part of contractor promotions are eligible. Must apply (online preferred) for rebates within 90 days of tune-up.
