Water Money exigible at the Port of Greenock, from
the Vessels undermentioned.
Ships, Brigantines, &c. in the Foreign Trade, sailing
with Convoys, or otherwise not requiring an extra num-ber of Men, are limited by law to one Man or Boy for
every 15 tons register.
All such Vessels to pay in proportion to their Ton-nage, at the rate of One Shilling for every 15 tons re-
gister.
All Letters of Marque, or other Armed Vessels, car-
rying a greater number of Men than in the above pro-
portion, and all Vessels carrying Passengers, to payOne Shilling each Passenger or extra Seaman.
Engines for extinguishing Fires*
The Fire Engines and appurtenances for them are
deposited at the Green Market, Market street.
