INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) NO. 2014-03 REPAIRS TO 4928 COTTON ROW, UNIT A
AND INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) NO. 2014-04 REPAIRS TO 851 WASHINGTON STREET
In compliance with 24 CFR § 85.36, Huntsville Housing Authority (HHA) is issuing an Invitation for
Bids (IFB) to interested, qualified contractors to provide labor, materials, and equipment for Repairs to 4928-A
Cotton Row and 851 Washington Street, Huntsville, Alabama
A pre-bid meeting for 4928 Cotton Row, Unit A is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 10:00
A.M. CST. A pre-bid meeting for 851 Washington Street is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 10:00
A.M. CST. Both meetings will be held at the Huntsville Housing Authority Main Office, 200 Washington
Street, Huntsville, Alabama 35801.
Separate, sealed bids to provide services at 4928 Cotton, Unit A will be received until 2:00 P.M. CST,
Thursday, April 3, 2014. Separate, sealed bids to provide services at 851 Washington Street will be received
until 2:00 P.M. CST, Thursday, April 10, 2014. Both bid openings will be held at the Huntsville Housing
Authority Main Office, 200 Washington Street, Huntsville, Alabama 35801,
Bid documents for 4928 Cotton Row, Unit A will be available to all eligible bidders beginning,
Thursday, March 6, 2014. Bid documents Bid documents for 851 Washington Street will be available to all
eligible bidders beginning, March 14, 2014. Electronic bid documents may be requested through the office of
the Architect, Bird & Kamback Architects, 304 Franklin Street, Huntsville, Alabama, 35801, (256) 536-1160,
[email protected]. Hard copies may be purchased from DataTek-USA, 2809 Newby Road SW,
#123, Huntsville, Alabama, (256) 539-8402, after obtaining permission from the office of the Architect.
HHA reserves the right to reject any/or all bids, or to waive any informality in the bids received, and to
accept any proposal, which, in its opinion, may be in the best interest of HHA.
