October is Canadian Library Month — an opportunity to celebrate libraries, their staff and their patrons. This year’s theme, Your Library, a Place Unbound, highlights how libraries constantly evolve to meet the needs of an information-driven society by introducing new ideas, telling new stories and exploring the world around us.

Libraries play a key role in their communities’ lives as they help connect people to information and reading—including digital and downloadable books, music, movies, electronic databases, Internet access and more.

October may be almost over, but there’s still time to visit your local libray and celebrate Canadian Library Month!
