I don't want a lot for Christmas, there's just one thing I needI don't care about presents, underneath the Christmas tree

I just want you for my own, more than you could ever knowMake my wish come true, all I want for Christmas is you

I don't want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need I don't care about presents, underneath the Christmas tree I don't need to hang my stocking, there upon the fireplace

Santa Claus won't make me happy, with a toy on Christmas day I just want you for for my own, more than you could ever know

Make my wish come true, All I want for Christmas is you

I won't ask for much this Christmas, I won't even wish for snow I'm just gonna keep on waiting, underneath the mistletoe

I won't make a list and send it to the North Pole for Saint Nick I won't even stay awake, to hear those magic reindeer click

'Cause I just want you here tonight, holding on to me so tight What more can I do, baby all I want for Christmas is you

All the lights are shining, so brightly everywhere And the sound of children's laughter fills the air

And everyone is singing, I hear those sleigh bells ringing Santa won't you bring me the one I really need

Won't you please bring my baby to me

Oh, I don't want a lot for Christmas, this is all I'm asking for I just want to see my baby, standing right outside my door

Oh I just want him for my own, more than you could ever know Make my wish come true, baby all I want for Christmas is You

All I Want For Christmas Is You (Performed by Defina Sisters)

The jingle bells are jingling, the streets are white with snowThe happy crowds are mingling, but there's no one that I know

I'm sure that you'll forgive me, If I don't enthuse I guess I've got the Christmas blues

I've done my window shopping, there's not a store I've missedBut what's the use of stopping, when there's no one on your list

You'll know the way I'm feeling, when you love and you lose

I guess I've got the Christmas blues

When somebody wants you, somebody needs youChristmas is a joy of joy, but friends when you're lonely

You'll find that it's only a thing for little girls and little boysMay all your days be merry, your seasons full of cheer

But 'til it's January I'll just go and disappear

Oh Santa may have brought you some stars for your shoesBut Santa only brought me the blues

Those brightly packaged tinsel covered Christmas blues

Oh Santa may have brought you some stars for your shoesBut Santa only brought me the blues

Those brightly packaged tinsel covered Christmas blues

Said the night wind to the little lamb, do you see what I see?Way up in the sky little lamb, do you see what I see?

A star, a star, dancing in the nightWith a tail as big as a kite, with a tail as big as a kite

Said the little lamb to the shepard boy, do you hear what I hear?Ringing through the sky shepard boy, do you hear what I hear?

A song, a song, high above the treeWith a voice as big as the sea, with a voice as big as the sea

Said the shepard boy to the mighty king, do you know what I know?In your palace wall mighty king, do you know what I know?

A child, a child, shivers in the coldLet us bring him silver and gold, Let us bring him silver and gold

Said the king to the people everywhere, listen to what I say

Pray for peace people everywhere, listen to what I sayThe child, the child, sleeping in the night

He will bring us goodness and lightHe will bring us goodness and light

The child, the childSleeping in the night

He will bring us goodness and light

Do You Hear What I Hear (Performed by Willmott Park Primary School)

Have yourself a merry little Christmas, let your heart be lightFrom now on our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas, make the Yule-tide gay

From now on our troubles will be miles away

Here we are as in olden days, Happy golden days of yoreFaithful friends who are dear to us

Gather near to us once more

Through the years we all will be together, If the Fates allow

Hang a shining star upon the highest boughAnd have yourself a merry little Christmas now

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (Performed by Avah Nikoll)

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the wayOh what fun it is to ride, in a one-horse open sleigh

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the wayOh what fun it is to ride, in a one-horse open sleigh

Dashing through the snow, in a one-horse open sleighOver the fields we go, laughing all the wayBells on bobtails ring, making spirits bright

What fun it is to laugh and sing a sleighing song tonight

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the wayOh what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh

Oh the weather outside is frightful But the fire is so delightful

And since we've no place to goLet It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow

It doesn't show signs of stoppingAnd I've bought some corn for popping

The lights are turned way down lowLet It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow

When we finally kiss goodnightHow I'll hate going out in the storm

But if you'll really hold me tightAll the way home I'll be warm

The fire is slowly dyingAnd, my dear, we're still good-bying

But as long as you love me soLet It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow

Let It Snow (Performed by Defina Sisters)

Rockin' around the Christmas treeat the christmas party hop

Mistletoe hung where you can see Every couple tries to stop

Rockin' around the Christmas tree Let the Christmas spirit ring

Later we'll have some pumpkin pieAnd we'll do some caroling

You will get a sentimental feeling when you hearVoices singing, "Let's be jolly

Deck the halls with bows of holly"

Rockin' around the Christmas tree Have a happy holiday

Everyone dancin' merrily In the new old-fashioned way

Rockin' around the Christmas tree Let the Christmas spirit ring

Later we'll have some pumpkin pie And we'll do some caroling

You will get a sentimental feeling when you hearVoices singing, "Let's be jolly

Deck the halls with boughs of holly"

You would even say it glowsAll of the other reindeer

Used to laugh and call him namesThey never let poor RudolphPlay in any reindeer games

Then all the reindeer loved himAnd they shouted out with glee"Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer

You'll go down in history!"

How do you capture the wind on the water? How do you count all the stars in the sky?

How can you measure the love of a motherOr how can you write down a baby's first cry?

Candlelight, angel light, Firelight and star glowShine on his cradle till breaking of dawn

Gloria, Gloria in excelsis Deo!Angels are singing, The Christ child is born

Shepherds and wise men will kneel and adore him

Seraphim round him their vigil will keepNations proclaim him, their Lord and their Saviour

But Mary will hold him and sing him to sleep

Candlelight, angel light, firelight and star glowShine on his cradle till breaking of dawn

Gloria, Gloria in excelsis Deo!Angels are singing, the Christ child is born

Find him at Bethlehem laid in a mangerChrist our Redeemer asleep in the hay

Godhead incarnate and hope of salvationA child with his mother that first Christmas Day

Candlelight, angel light, firelight and star glowShine on his cradle till breaking of dawn

Page 23

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the houseNot a creature was stirring, not even a mouse

The stockings were hung by the chimney with careIn hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there

The children were nestled all snug in their bedsWhile visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads

And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my capHad just settled down for a long winter's nap

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatterI sprang from the bed to see what was the matter

Away to the window I flew like a flashTore open the shutters and threw up the sash

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snowGave the lustre of mid-day to objects below

When, what to my wondering eyes should appearBut a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer

With a little old driver, so lively and quickI knew in a moment it must be St. Nick

More rapid than eagles his coursers they cameAnd he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name

"Now! Dasher, now! Dancer, now! Prancer, and VixenOn! Comet, on! Cupid, on! Dunder and BlixemTo the top of the porch! to the top of the wallNow dash away! dash away! dash away all"

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane flyWhen they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky

So up to the house-top the coursers they flewWith the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too

The Night Before Christmas

Page 24

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roofThe prancing and pawing of each little hoof

As I drew in my hand, and was turning aroundDown the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his footAnd his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot

A bundle of toys he had flung on his backAnd he looked like a peddler just opening his pack

His eyes, how they twinkled! his dimples how merryHis cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry

His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bowAnd the beard of his chin was as white as the snow

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath

He had a broad face and a little round bellyThat shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf

And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myselfA wink of his eye and a twist of his head

Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his workAnd filled all the stockings

then turned with a jerkAnd laying his finger aside of his nose

And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistleAnd away they all flew like the down of a thistleBut I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night"

The Night Before Christmas (contd)

Page 25

Haul out the holly, put up the tree before my spirit falls againFill up the stocking I may be rushing things,

But deck the halls again now

For we need a little Christmas, right this very minuteCandles in the window, carols at the spinet

Yes, we need a little Christmas right this very minute

It hasn't snowed a single flurry, But Santa, dear, we're in a hurry

So climb down the chimney, turn on the brightest string of light I've ever seen

Slice up the fruitcake, it's time we hung some tinsel on that evergreen bough

For I've grown a little leaner, grown a little colder

Grown a little sadder, grown a little older And I need a little angel, sitting on my shoulder

Need a little Christmas now

For we need a little music, Need a little laughterNeed a little singing, ringing through the rafter

And we need a little snappy"Happy ever after"

Need a little Christmas now

We Need A Little Christmas
