HISTORYAfter Humayun's death, his wife, Hamida Banu begum commenced the construction of this wonderful and magnificent monument in remembrance of his husband, humayun.

ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION

The tomb is the first disctintive example of mughal style with a mixture of persian architecture. Mirak Mirza Ghiyath, a Persian architect constructed it. There is a grave of the Mughal king Humayun inside it and the diagonal sides lead to the graves of the members of the royal family

HUMAYUN TOMB WAS THE FIRST GARDEN TOMB IN THE MUGHAL HISTORY AND HAS ALSO INSPIRED ARCHITECTURAL INNOVATIONS AND IDEAS. NOT ONLY IN THE HISTORY BUT ALSO TODAY, IT IS GREATLY VALUED AS A PRECIOUS MONUMENT OF INDIA. FOREIGN TOURISTS ALSO COME TO SEE IT. THIS SPLENDID YOMB IS ALSO ONE OF THE WORLD HERITAGE SITES BY UNESCO. SO, LETS SAVE THIS BEATIFUL CREATION OF OUR ANCESTORS FOR OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS……
