Human Resources Technician (Recruitment) Position: The future incumbent for this position will support the City’s recruitment efforts, represent the City at job fairs, schedule interviews, proctor testing, orient new employees; provide a variety of responsible, confidential specialized clerical duties in support of human resources ser- vices and programs; assist the public, applicants, and City employees with forms and general information regarding City programs, ser- vices, and processes; and perform other duties as assigned. This position may occasionally require evening, weekend, and overtime work. Salary: $19.38 - $24.78 per hour, plus excellent benefits. Medical is fully paid for most plans (including family coverage) as specified in the current union contract. The Ideal Candidate for This Position Will Possess: • Public Sector Human Resources experience • Recruitment experience • Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • A calm demeanor and be able to communicate with diplomacy and tact • Ability to cross-train on other tasks and work as part of a team environment • Proficiency in MS Office applications, experience posting on social media platforms, as well as the ability to learn soft ware and database programs Minimum Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Position:
