HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT TRAINEE JOB SCOPE: This role specifically focuses on various human resources functions including, Recruitment and Selection, Remuneration, Administration and Reward & Recognition. This role is required to conduct duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the Starwood policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained. It works with a view to progress as Assistant Manager and handle the responsibilities accordingly on the successful completion of the Management Trainee Program. JOB ROLE: Learn all the verticals of HR including Recruitment, Training & Development, Compensation & Benefits and Associate Engagement. Demonstrate good understanding of Starwood & property HR policies & SOPs. Support HR leaders in Various South Asia / Asia Pacific Projects Undergo various trainings related to Starwood (Brand Modules, Experience, Voice, etc.) Undergo property exposure in Starwood Hotels located in South Asia Region to learn and get exposure to the operational HR tasks. Comply with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures. Demonstrate good understanding of general roles & responsibilities of all functions, key positions and staff levels. Develop strong knowledge of HR systems. Learn and take responsibility of all HR admin work. Assist in organizing and managing HR events. SKILLS & INTERESTS: A genuine interest in developing career in HR. Strong verbal & written communication skills. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Ability to act in confidential and sensitive manner. Willingness to travel if required.
