I was responsible for arranging sponsorship and ensuring publicity of thecelebrity night. With Rourkela's locational disadvantage, it was tough to get big

sponsors. Still I set an ambitious target of Rs 20 Lakhs. I delegated different tasksto different teams. Proper supervision was ensured with regular weeklymeetings. Finally, we were able to generate a sponsorship of Rs 23 Lakhs. Theevent was a grand success with over 5000 people dancing to the beats of Pritamand his band.

At times, many of us are caught in a situation of moral conflict, where wehave to choose between two seemingly right alternatives. Give us onesituation when you faced this conflict. How did you resolve it? (maximum500 characters)

I was looking after creatives and sponsorship for NITRUTSAV. We were having atough time due to lack of sponsors. We had already signed Uninor as our titlesponsor when Pepsi came up with an offer to give us more than what Uninor hadpromised but with the condition that we had to do away with the former. Weneeded the money, but it was completely unethical to do so. Although i refusedpepsi politely for this offer, I never gave up. , Finally I convinced Pepsi to be ourAssociate Sponsor.

At Tata Steel, I was given the task to commission an Underground Dumper in avirgin section with a deadline of 3 months. With a working temperature of 39 to43 degree Celsius, its really tough working in Underground mines. So some ofthe workers started questioning the feasibility of the entire plan. I personally hadto spend my whole day at the working site in order to motivate them and ensureproper flow of work. My hard work paid off and the entire job was completed in2 months and 20 days.
