Fine Line�Lucky Rabbit

It’s a lucky charm, but it’s very shy and rare. I got this idea from my pet rabbit and the four- leaf clover. When she died, I believe she went to heaven. She

will bring happiness and luck to the angels there like she did for me.

Love I made a circle to symbolize that having a soul mate makes life complete. Red means passion and love. The word "LOVE” shaped into numerous hearts. There are three stages of how the people meet, date, then fall in love.

Fine Line�Wishes to Horse Year

I used the synonym with the horse to present the wishes for the Chinese horse year. Horse is Ma () in Mandarin Chinese. On a horse back

( ma-shang�) in Mandarin Chinese has a

meaning of “right away.”

In the picture ,Having Wealth and Romance Right Away, the peach is a symbol of love and

romance. The number eight means rich in Mandarin Chinese.

There is no four (mei-shi ��) in Mandarin

Chinese has a meaning of “everything is going

to be O.K..”

Forestry in college. It helped me to know more about trees. Trees can offer a safe and peaceful environment for living things. They are like guardian

angels to our nature.

head and human legs. She has a cat as a pet. How ironic is that? Moreover, if she is the character in the story, The Little Mermaid, will the prince still fall

Colour Art�Colour, the more the better.

I like to use rich colour to represent happiness.

Normally, brides wear a white dress to symbolise purity.

Their eyes and smiles sparkle with happiness. It is why I drew this picture ,Bride, in vivid colours.�

The picture of Jelly Flower was inspired by bridal bouquet.

The long and curvy ribbons made me think of the tentacles of the jellyfish. Therefore, I created this new species.��

Indonesia Batik�Wax and Painting

Batik is an amazing traditional art in Indonesia. Using wax and colour painting on cloth, it creates lively visual image. I was so glad to have the opportunity to

learn this interesting painting technique while I was working in Indonesia. The lovely country and their lovely art both inspire my fine line works.

Painting�Life�

In this series, I did not only create the picture in the front, but also on the sides. I tried to make the

picture extending from one canvas to another. It is interesting if you look at the picture from different angles. The lines are not only extending from each

canvas, but also from one canvas’s front to another’s side. Which is like life, things connecting or affecting each other. I used the red to symbolise

the ups in one’s life. On the other hand, black means the downs. And white signifies the normal times in one’s life.

The school where I am working asked me to draw a painting for the school and the students. Meanwhile, the baby panda was born and became very popular in Taipei

zoo. It inspired me to draw the Formosan Black Bear to encourage people to pay more attention on our endangered species in Taiwan. Therefore I drew a cute Formosan Black

Bear. It is daydreaming about playing with the rabbit angels that are coming down from the sky.
