Overview

Huawei Enterprise Gateway eSpace EGW1500 series are the multi-feature PBX, as well as the all-in-one local gateway in the large networking with lots of branches. It integrates the applications of voice, data, wireless, security, and information and communications technology (ICT) into one box, to provide the end-to-end solution for small-sized enterprises, enterprise branches and remote offices, and small office and home office (SOHO), freeing them from multiple devices for the same requirements, and responding to enterprises' service and application demands quickly. Besides, eSpace EGW1500 use an integrated, modular and scalable structure that enables enterprises to deploy services as required and helps capitalize on investment.

Improved Efficiency and Reduced Costs y Integrate the voice, switching, wireless, and data security

functionalities of conventional routers, switches, and firewalls. This integration provides users with quick office system set-up, improved efficiency and reduced costs.

y As multi-feature PBX, support FXS connecting analog terminals directly, and FXO or BRI accessing PSTN, also built-in voice mail, audio conference, and PBX features

y Support convergence with IMS by the mode of “Cloud + End”

High Reliability y Support being as the local gateway of Huawei eSpace UC

solution, providing the feature of local regeneration. When the servers in the data center is fault, or the network between branches and HQ is disconnected, then EGW can take over the control work, and guarantee the local users making voice call normally.

y Support power-off survival. When the EGW1500 is powered off, the phone connected to POTS1 automatically switches to the FXO port to access the PSTN network.

y Support dual homing. If one SIP server fails, the EGW1500 switches to the other SIP server.

y Support 3G of TD-SCDMA or WCDMA for backup through USB interface. When the ADSL or WAN port is disconnected from the IP network, a data card of 3G is connected to the USB port so that the EGW1500E can connect to the IP network.

y EGW1500 series have a mature QoS mechanism. They can guarantee the priority or the bandwidth of key services.

GatewayeSpace EGW1500 series can act as the local gateway in eSpace UC solution. EGW1500 series provide all-in-one box solution for small branches and SOHO offices, including the features of data, security, wireless access, and in the abnormal situation when the network between branch and HQ is disconnected, or the server in the HQ fails, EGW1500 series support local generation and provide voice control for the terminals of local site.

Independent IP PBXeSpace EGW1500 series can act as the multi-feature PBX for the small and SOHO enterprises, and provides various features of voice and data for the enterprises.. EGW1500 series provides the voice control and services for terminals such as analog phone, ip phone and fax, PSTN connection through FXO or BRI, and wired and wireless access. EGW1500 series supports uplink network connection by WAN or ADSL, and 3G of WCDMA or TD SCDMA for backup for the formal way.
