n Heavy duty Z-rail is integrated into the base of the modular deck system and used with anti-tip brackets attached to shelving units to prevent tipping. End stops are installed on both ends of the system, which prevent carriages from rolling off the base.

n Modular decks have scuff resistant finish with leveling screws accessible from the top of the base for faster leveling and more accurate results.

Compacting Mobile SystemsMechanical Assist Compacting SystemsA chain and sprocket mechanicalassembly housed in an anodizedaluminum cover enables users toquickly and easily move heavyloads with minimal effort. Allmechanical assist compacting sys-tems are custom built for use withnew or existing shelf units.

Compliant SystemsUsed for all compacting system and many slide-by systems, compliant tracking is mounteddirectly to the floor providing a low profile trackto guide the mobile shelf units. Best when usedon fairly level floors, compliant tracks are easilyinstalled and follow the contour of the floor.

A variety of compliant track options are available,depending on the type of shelving units consid-ered and the characteristics of the floor. All use low profile, angled extrusions that do nothinder foot or cart traffic.

Compliant tracks can be laid directly on any suit-able surface, including concrete, commercial car-peting (without padding) or wood. Articulatingwheel assemblies adjust to irregularities in thefloor for smooth movement of file cabinets.

Modular Deck SystemsSlide-by mobile filing systems can be installedusing modular deck tracking that corrects irregu-larities in floors, and are recommended for use in older buildings or where floors are very uneven.

Modular deck systems use connecting compo-nents to create a raised base that all shelf units restupon, both static and mobile. The base units con-nect to create a freestanding track system thatdoes not damage floors or walls. Modular deck sys-tems have deck mount anti-tip features and endstop components. Uniform deck connection pro-vides easy rolling of carriages between each deckwith effort-free movement.

Compliant tracking for both compacting and slide-by mobile systemsare easy to install and can be added to or relocated with minimal effort.

Modular deck tracking ensures smooth gliding of mobile units onuneven floors. Free-standing construction does not damage floors.
