The load-bearing frame is constructed of poplar heartwood and elm with additional connecting elements in chipboard panel. Dap joints unite the various parts of the frame with securing cylindrical dowels. The carefully selected wood is naturally seasoned for at least three years on thecompany’s premises. The seat webbing consists of elastic polypropylene and natural latex belts in two sizes, each with its own precisely definedelasticity. Belts 9 cm wide are fixed parallel to each other and perpendicularly to the length of Keen at 20% elasticity; these are interlaced by 5 cm wide belts at 80% elasticity.

The framework is upholstered with contoured sheets of resilient, CFC-free polyurethane foam (density 75 kg/m³), covered with bonded plush and polyester wadding. The removable seat cushions are available in two different versions: filled completely with CFC-free polyurethane foam (density between 30 and 35 kg/m³); and filled with feather in the top and front, over CFC-free polyurethane foam (with density between 30 and 35 kg/m³).

The removable back cushions are completely feather filled. The support consists of a round, 30 mm diameter tubular steel base; an additional steel back support is fixed to the frame. They are both available in two different finishes: either varnished with epoxy powder paint (in eight available colors) or chromed. The low table tops are available solely in saddle leather.
