• 2007: Refounding of ACE as European Association of Chemistry and the Environment (ACE) under the juristiction of Luxembourg

Vision and perspectives

The ACE is non-profit scientific association initiated by a group of renowned European scientists with interests in interdisciplinary collaboration within Environmental Chemistry.

The ACE promotes scientific contact between scientists and political and social representatives within governmental, as well as regulatory bodies, in order to address scientific challenges, and to support education within research fields associated to Environmental Chemistry.

Due to the interdisciplinary nature of our organization, the ACE also invites scientists from adjacent research fields (e.g. atmospheric sciences, biology, geology, industrial chemistry, medicine, sociology, soil science, toxicology, water science) to take part in shaping our association.

useful contacts; and • for members who are willing to work abroad
