Situated in the heart of Emsworth, we welcome our patients to this charming vil lage nestled on the shore of Chichester Harbour. It is tucked away on the West Sussex/Hampshire border midway between Por tsmouth and Chichester making our practice very accessible and easy to find. In the past, its picturesque and busy harbour was a centre for the oyster trade and boat building. Today Emsworth is a vibrant market town, popular with sailors, ar tists, walkers and visitors alike.

Mobility:For those with mobility issues we offer a ground floor reception, dental surgery and WC facili t ies, as well as wheelchair access. Please advise our receptionist when booking.

Car Parking:We have negotiated an agreement with the Spice Village Indian Restaurant. Our clients can use the restaurant car park for the duration of their appointment. Simply display your appointment card in the window of your car. Should you wish to stay in Emsworth for longer, there is a free car park in Bridge Street (600yds/500m) or pay and display car parks in SouthStreet(200yds/185m)andNorthStreet(330yds/300m).

Train:Emsworth Train Station is served by Southern Trains. The station is 750yds/700m from the practice.

Bus:Bus number 700 stops in the centre of Emsworth just 75yds/70m from the practice.

Bicycles:Facili ties to secure bicycles are available in St Peter’s Square just 75yds/70m away.

As prevention is better (and more cost ef fective) than cure, we recommend regular visits to the dentist and hygienist. We generally recommend two dental consultations and two hygienist appointments per annum. However, this may vary depending on your specific needs.

For easier diary management, we book your next appointment before you leave the practice and issue you with an appointment card. This not only acts as a reminder but also as a voucher for parking in the Spice Village car park next time you visit us.

You are of course able to change your appointment time up to one full working day in advance although we would appreciate as much notice as possible.

Missed or cancelled appointmentsWherever possible, we usually contact you by phone, text or email to remind you in advance of your appointment.

If you do need to cancel your appointment, we would appreciate a minimum of one full working days notice. This will enable us to of fer the appointment to another patient. A fee will be charged if an appointment is missed or cancelled with less notification.

Late arrivalsWe appreciate life doesn’t always run to plan. We will always try to accommodate such instances however if you do arrive late for your appointment, we may not be able to see you. In such cases, we will need to reschedule your visit and levy a charge.

Your safety and well being are at the core of everything we do. To enable us to assure our care, we need you to provide us with information on any of your past and present medical conditions, medications and treatments as these may affect your dental treatment. This information needs to be updated on a regular basis. You can rest assured that all the information you provide is treated in the strictest confidence and protected under the Data Protect Act 1998.

If you have a dental emergency please get in touch as early as possible so we can try to arrange a same day appointment.

For emergency dental treatment during weekends or bank holidays please phone the practice number where a recorded message will give details of our out-of-hours emergency dental service 01243 375588.

All our treatment is of fered on a private fee basis. We encourage our clients to join our Membership Plus Plan and enjoy the benefits of
