The client is an award-winning provider of market research and economic analysis on the

technical, business and economic aspects within semiconductor, nanotechnology and related

industries. It provides intelligence for faster and better decision making in the areas of

semiconductors, photovoltaic, LEDs, display, manufacturing, materials and critical subsystems.

Brainvire has developed an automated system for Online Advertisers & Market Research for

sending and receiving data by providing the advertisers with past and present information related

to the market research and analysis, generating various reports and projecting information with a

view of enhancing search advertising strategy to improve the user experience and expand the

presence in the online market.

The users can avail the subscription on any research information and based on that the client

provides research and analysis materials, white papers, access to basic reference guides etc.

Apart from this, Brainvire is successfully executing CSS (Customer Satisfaction Survey) every

year conducted by the client for its customers.

Client Requirement

Project Challenges

Team faced the following challenges:

Generating reports based on the customer satisfaction survey using complex

statistical functions with the qualification criteria changing each year.

Integration of Apache Open Meeting into the system for conducting webinars.

Conversion of docx or pptx into pdf which are then sent as attachments.

The conversion is done using Windows server where MS Office is used in conjunction

with PHP’s COM library. The PHP script is called which is hosted on the Windows

server from a UNIX machine.

The CRM system has a very complex set of business rules so any changes have to be

carefully integrated taking into consideration the impact on the system.
