The ABUS Mini-RC remote control systemThe intelligent solution for chain hoists
The ABUS Mini-RC safety remotecontrol system was designedespecially for the wireless remotecontrol of stand-alone chain hoists. It is suitable for chain hoists withcontactor and direct control and offersa cost-effective alternative to conven-tional safety radio remote controlsystems. The Mini-RC is available intwo versions, one for stationary chainhoists and one for chain hoists withelectric travel drives.
Replace the pendant control of your chain hoist with thecompact Mini-RC receiver with effortless ease.

The transmittern easy-to-use controls
n compact design (65 x 122 x 30mm)
n low self weight (230g including batteries)
n four two-step buttons, two single stepbuttons
n powered by three 1.5 V AA batteries or1.2 V rechargeable batteries
n battery life about 1200 hours (alkaline batteries) with 10% duty cycle
n low battery warning system with buzzeralarm
n integrated antenna and piezo-electricbuzzer
n IP 65 plastic housingn Range: up to approx. 25 m
The sturdy transmitter is small and light, sits comfortably in the hand and is easy tooperate, ensuring reliable operation of thetwo-step controls.
The red emergency stop button initiates anactive emergency stop command. A passiveemergency stop is automatically initiated if no valid signal is received for longer than1 second. An integrated auto power-offfunction with a time delay of 30 secondsswitches the transmitter off when it is notneeded.
The ON/horn button is used to switch thetransmitter on and also operates the hornintegrated in the receiver to warn personnelin the working area of the chain hoist.
The transmitter can be easily attached to theoperator’s belt using the sturdy belt clip onthe back of the unit.

Multiple frequency utilization
New transmission technology in the 868 MHzfrequency band allows up to ten chain hoiststo be controlled independently at the sametime using the same frequency. In addition, the high-frequency receivers used are very small and light. Control systems with 868 MHz relieve the burden on theoverloaded 433 MHz frequency band.
Freely programmable addressing
While the transmitter frequency is fixed, thereceivers can be tuned to receivers by freelyprogrammable addressing using the teach-in function of the transmitter.
This ensures that transmitters can bereplaced quickly and easily if necessary.
