Resolution Copper is undertaking various studies and works to determine the

viability of an underground mine and processing facility which will exploit the

large porphyry Copper mineralization identified near the town of Superior. The

study work associated with designing and evaluating the potential future mine

at Resolution is the task of the Studies Team.

We are currently looking for a dynamic Metallurgical Engineer will to join our

project study team. This position would ideally be based in Superior Arizona.

The primary purpose if the Metallurgical Engineer will be to manage the

metallurgical testwork program, develop the process design criteria, support

the concentrator engineering design, manage the program budget. The work

is technical in nature and traverses multiple disciplines including metallurgy,

process, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering, as well as managerial in

leading contractors and consultants.

Accountabilities:

The Metallurgical Engineer will:

Identify the issues associated with mill design that need to be resolved

to complete a studies work as outlined in the Rio Tinto guidelines and

develop a work program to resolve these issues within the defined

schedule.

Manage the execution of the work program by external and internal

resources to ensure the completion of quality studies in a timely and

cost efficient manner.

•

Manage the relevant studies consultants to ensure that the studies are

adequately resourced and studies are developed to provide on-going

value to Resolution and Rio Tinto.

•

To involve stakeholders in the design process and communicate in a

clear and concise manner the key issues identified and progress made

on completing the metallurgy and processing portion studies work.

The incumbent is expected to complete or manage the completion of technical

analysis and design in the key areas of study in the processing and metallurgy

program including:

Collaborate with other members of the Resolution team to ensure

continuity of work.

•

Provide design recommendations and review on metallurgy and mineral

processing projects in support of the Resolution studies work.

•

Assure that process flows, design criteria, material/water balances, and

process equipment are fully reviewed and agreed upon.

•

Develop a geo-metallurgical model to be optimized as the Resolution

Project progresses

•

College/University Education:

Undergraduate degree in Metallurgical Engineering is essential. •

MS degree desirable.•

Other Qualifications:

5 years relevant operating and technical experience.•

Demonstrated commitment to safety•

Exposure to project study work in metallurgy•

Experience working Metallurgy and process design in a project study

set-up

•

Project management exposure (definition, planning and implementation

of a study project)

•

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. •

Previous experience in mill operations in a technical role is desirable.•
