Popular Haas CNC machine models available for education.

PROGRAM

THE HTEC NETWORK is an organization of manufacturing technology educators who actively network with and leverage the capabilities and technologies of Haas Automation, the Haas Factory Outlets (HFOs), and HTEC Partners to work with local industry, schools at all levels, government, and manufacturing associations to exchange the best manufacturing practices and educational methods, and to exploit the power of modern manufacturing equipment for educational purposes.

HTEC Network membership is free, and open to all educators who use any Haas CNC products in their programs. Joining the network is a simple online process, and will allow an educator to list their school and program, along with other information that can promote their program to students, parents, and local industry.

THE HTEC NETWORK

AS PART OF THE HTEC Network of Schools, you have access to a wide variety of contacts, benefits, and services. These include discounts on Haas machines, educational conferences, teacher training, educational and online training software, and access to many HTEC Technology Partners.

You’ll find complete details at the HTEC website:

• Educational Discounts

• Haas CNC Control Simulators

• Supplementary Online CNC Training Software

• Educator Resources

• Regional and National Training Conferences

• CNC Teacher Training

• HTEC Member Directory w/contacts

• HTEC Technology Partners w/contacts

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

HTEC MEMBERS CAN CONTACT, collaborate with, and network with more than 2200 schools, colleges, and universities throughout the world.

All schools that use Haas CNC products are welcome to join and become active members in the HTEC Network. All registered schools are listed on the HTEC website (www.htecnetwork.org) by state, province, or country. The HTEC website provides Member School listings that are maintained, edited, and easily updated by the HTEC member through an interactive portal. By registering your school with up-to-date contact information, including a direct link to your program, you provide all visitors – students, parents, other educators, and industry – with online information about your CNC program.

MEMBER DIRECTORIES

IT'S NOT EASY for the teaching staff at a technical school to stay abreast of developments in

CNC manufacturing technology, and the associated teaching equipment and materials. HTEC

Partners, as leaders in their respective technologies – such as CNC teaching software, CAM

software, toolholders, cutting tools, workholding equipment, probing technology, coolant, and

tool setters – offer a wide range of products, as well as a wealth of ready-to-use teaching

materials and textbooks, advice, and experience – available only to schools.

TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS

THE HTEC NETWORK organizes state and regional CNC Educator Training Conferences in

many locations. These one-day events are hosted at HTEC Member Schools, sponsored by

the local Haas Factory Outlet, and are free to all educators. The Conference Programs provide

educators with information, educational materials and methods, opportunities to benchmark,

introduction to additional CNC technologies and partners, and the ability to network with peers.

Conference organizers, locations, and dates, along with online registration, are listed on the

HTEC Network website. An annual 4-day Americas CNC Educators Conference occurs every

July. Previous conference proceedings are available at www.htecnetwork.org.

CONFERENCES

MANUFACTURING IS THE FOUNDATION of modern civilization, and the key to a bright

and prosperous future.

Show your students that careers in manufacturing technology are not only exciting, interesting,

and rewarding, but also contribute to every facet of human endeavor, while helping develop an
