1. Introduction
1.1 General Description
The Horizontal PATA DOM in a IDE-PATA-44pin interface Disk On Module that feature a flash
disk controller chip and NAND type flash memory devices. The EDM6C-Hx is available in 128MB
to 16GB capacities in PATA DOM Horizontal type. The drives operate in 5-volts power supply
and support ATA PIO mode 6, MDMA mode 4, UDMA mode 4 data transfer. The Disk On
Module is geared specifically to the industrial market for use in such products as ATM, factory
automation machines, POS terminals, measuring products, ticket-vending machines, parking
systems and other industrial product that require high tolerance to environmental condition.
