Educational Highlights: Over the course of my four years at the College of Charleston, I’ve maintained above a 3.9 GPA and received scholarships and recognition from the Department of English, Honors College, and Study Abroad Office. I spent a formative semester in Spain during my junior year studying political geography and learning the Spanish language. Research Focus or Project: Over the course of my senior year, I’ve been engaged in a research project with Dr. William Russell, investigating the ways in which John Milton uses astronomy in Paradise Lost to establish his place in a rich literary tradition, celebrate the beauty of the cosmos, and engage in a dialogue about the value of inquiry in the context of religion. Future Plans: At present, my future plans are uncertain. However, I aspire to travel and live abroad, teaching English while continuing to learn.
