Service Room Spotlight DID YOU KNOW... “Idaho ranks third in the country for the most hours of service per capita, at 51.3 hours per per- son per year, according to a report released this week. That adds up to 58.6 million hours of service, worth $1.2 billion for the state. Sisters from the Bois e Stake Relief Society recen tly met together to kick off their unique Stake Human itarian Service project. A delicious brunch was ser ved and a media presentat ion was given by local physician Dr. Peggy Doucette about an orphanage in Uganda. Dr. Doucette, along w ith family members and fri ends travel to Africa often to assist in an orphanage where approxi- mately 500 childr en liv e. The chil dren the re have nothing to call their own. Wards in the Boise Sta ke received boxes with all the materials necessary to create more than 500 dolls, puppets and other items that will be completed and delivered to the children by Dr. Doucette and her associates as they travel to Uganda this spring. What an inspiring and wonde rful opportunity for the Boise Stake to participate in a Humanitarian effort, bringing hope and joy to individual children across the globe. Sisters from the Boise Stake Relief Society recently met together to kick off their unique Stake Humanitarian Service project.

A delicious brunch was served and a media presentation was given

by local physician Dr. Peggy Doucette about an orphanage inUganda. Dr. Doucette, along with family members and friendstravel to Africa often to assist in an orphanage where approxi-

mately 500 children live. The children there have nothing to calltheir own. Wards in the Boise Stake received boxes with all thematerials necessary to create more than 500 dolls, puppets and

other items that will be completed and delivered to the children byDr. Doucette and her associates as they travel to Uganda this

spring. What an inspiring and wonderful opportunity for the BoiseStake to participate in a Humanitarian effort, bringing hope and joy

to individual children across the globe.
