HRSG-1A FLUEGAS PATH INSPECTION REPORTGT-1A 3rd MI declared from 17-12-2012 to 21-12-2012.

During 3rd Minor inspection of GT-1A, we checked flue gas path of HRSG-1A and observed some dust particles deposited on boiler finned tubes and this was observed more on CPH circuit and to some little extent on HP evaporator tubes also.

This dust/foreign material deposits on boiler tubes cause poor heat transfer rate of boiler tubes.Tthis deposited dust cleaned with wire brushes and compressed air and this activity carried out throughout all the 5 Modules of the HRSG-1A.

During flue gas path inspection,it has been checked for baffles dislocation/baffles fasteners looseness and found no abnormality. After cleaning of the tube modules, some photos were taken and they were illustrated above.
