firsT rouTEs cis The airport hosts the first Routes CIS. The President of Ukraine opens the new passenger terminal.

KharKiv airlinEs launch Kharkiv Airlines became Kharkiv Airport home carrier. The first routes included flights to Greece, Turkey, Tunisia and Egypt. The airline plans further route development from Kharkiv to Europe and Asia.

final parT of Euro-2012 During the days of EURO-2012 group games the airport handled the highest number of passengers among other Ukrainian host cities airports (except KBP) (up to 9 000 pax every day) and got a number of commendations from European airlines which carried football fans to and from Kharkiv.
