BAPTISM PREPARATION If your child is seven years old or younger and you have not attended a baptismal preparation class before, you are required to attend. Registration fee is $20.

A baptismal registration form must be handed in to the parish office before the start of the session. Baptisms are held on the 2nd Sunday of every month after the 11:00am Mass at St. James or during the 9am mass at St. Michael’s If your child is

older than seven years and in need of baptism please contact the parish office at 403-938-3122.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION Phone the Parish Office at least 6 months before marriage and make an appointment. Marriage preparation sessions are mandatory for those preparing for marriage. Sessions are at St. James Church, Friday 7-9pm and Saturday, 9:00am to 4:30pm on the following dates: Session Four: October 21 and 22, 2016 Registration fee is $150.00 per couple.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Registration is ongoing for all those interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith. Inquirers are instructed in the Catholic Faith and introduced to the life of the Church. The sessions are Wednesdays from 7-9pm at St. James Church.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Teens (RCIT) This program is designed for all youth from grades 7-12, who desire to receive the Catholic Sacraments they have missed and for any youth who wishes to be fully initiated into the Catholic Church.

THE PONTIFICAL COUNCIL FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY MASS AND PRESENTATION

On June 20th, we will be celebrating the many contributions of forcibly displaced people throughout the world with a Mass at

St. Mary’s Cathedral, at 7 pm presided by Bishop Freder ick Henry. With this Jubilee Year of Mercy celebration, we

will not only recognize refugees, past and current, but the many people dedicated to helping them. An international potluck

hold a by-election this fall to replace former MD of Foothills area Trustee Brian Lyttle who passed away about a month ago. The MD of Foothills trustee represents the entire MD of Foothills and including the towns outside of Okotoks such as Black Diamond and Turner Valley.
