Phase 1 Return to School: From Monday, students who have been learning from home, w ill

be provided with the opportunity to return to school for one day of face to face learning. The

timetable for the transition back to school is attached.

Those students who have been attending 5 days per week will still be able to do so, and we would

warmly welcome any student who needs to return to school.

All of the staff are very excited to see our students next week, and are looking forward to

re-establishing the face to face connection. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to

contact the school. See you all soon!

Thank You: Today was a bittersweet day as we said thank you and farewell to our friend

Ineke. Ineke, who has been working as classroom teacher of Warthog Room, has been offered the

opportunity to work within the Itinerant Hearing Support Team in the Maitland area. We would like to

sincerely thank Ineke for all her hard work, compassion, professionalism and commitment, and it has

been a pleasure to have her as a member of our team. We are very sorry to see her move on, but

know that her expertise is going to be highly valuable for the young people on her

caseload. Thank you and good luck!

Martin Grey, one of our valued casual teachers, will be working alongside Louise in

Warthog Room for the immediate future. This week Marty and Ineke have had the

opportunity to work together and have had an explicit handover of plans and

information. Welcome Marty! (you can learn a little bit more about Marty from his
