HR Strategy for Researchers – Commission acknowledgement

• Inform Commission (PO in charge) that documents have been published (provide link(s)), or send documents before publication.

• Commission will assess compliance with process (panel of three assessors) and get back with comments.

• If not all criteria are fulfilled to satisfactory degree, a resubmission is possible at any time.

• Commission acknowledgement is accompanied by award of right to use the “HR Excellence in Research” logo

– Graphic guidelines have to be respected

– No restrictions from side of Commission where the logo can be used, but connection to awarded institution has to be evident

– Examples: HR related material, job adverts, leaflets to attract foreign PhD candidates, funding proposals (national grants), … etc.

“HR Excellence in Research” logo

• To be used exclusively by institutions that have received the acknowledgement (listed on EURAXESS website)

• Now also displayed on EURAXESS Jobs Portal with adverts by acknowledged institutions!

Communication – some ideas…

• So you received the acknowledgement? Congratulations! Now let the world know of your achievement!

• Internally: article in institutional magazine, email to staff, interview in e-newsletter, thank-you letter to those who have contributed...

• Externally: news item on your website (top level!), press release (national & EU wide, e.g. through AlphaGalileo), interview on local/national radio/TV, article in relevant media, success story on EURAXESS Rights website, video on YouTube, posting on Rectors’ blog...

• Be creative!!
