PURPOSEThe HR Manager role encompasses all Human Resource components from job design, recruitment, talent mapping, employee relations, performance management, compliance and training & development
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Develop and implement HR
initiatives that link to the organisation’s strategic goals, building workforce frameworks
Maintain a flexible work place to support work life balance
Manage the end to end recruitment and selection process, incorporating position descriptions, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and induction
Responsible for the process of onboarding and offboarding staff
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system
Work with managers through the annual HR cycle – performance reviews, remuneration and skill development
Provide advice and support to colleagues on any employee relations issues
Ensure legal compliance by keeping up to date regarding current employment laws, awards and related regulations
Implement and update OH&S training and induction
QUALIFICATIONSDegree Qualified in Human Resource Management or related discipline
Essential Criteria Minimum 3 – 5 years senior
experience in similar HR management role, preferably in a growing or transforming organisation
Respect for people and their talents and an ability to help them be the best version of themselves
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Experience in preparation of
written and oral communications with the ability to draft contracts, reports, policies and procedures
Proven high level organisation skills with the ability to negotiate, liaise and resolve complex HR issues
