Removing the keyboard will require removing the bottom door before turning it over to remove thekeyboard. Be wary of any loose components when the laptop is turned right side up.

ツールツール:Phillips #0 Screwdriver (1)




手順手順 1 — Battery

Make sure the computer is shut offand the power cord is unpluggedfrom the AC outlet.

Slide the two release latches oneither side of the battery.

Gently tilt the battery upward andremove it from its socket.

手順手順 2 — Bottom Door

Turn the computer so the bottom isfacing towards you.

Remove the one 3.0 mm PhillipsPM2.0x3.0 security screw.

The security screw is an optionalfeature and isn't required to hold thebacking if there is not one screwedin place.

Slide the release latches then pullthe door towards you. Lift the dooraway to completely remove it.

Remove four 6.0 mm PhillipsPM2.5x6.0 screws.

Turn the computer over and positionit right-side up in order and open thecomputer as far as possible.

Move the keyboard in a downwardfashion towards the palm rest.

Lift the top of the keyboard at anangle and then gently pull it up andaway from the palm rest.

Only pull the keyboard up enough torelease it. The cable beneath thekeyboard will still be attached to thesystem board.




To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Disconnect the keyboard cable bylifting the latch at the center of thesystem board.

Completely remove the keyboard.
