What He did
Lovecraft Is famous for his short stories. He was also a poet and editor. He mostly wrote dark fantasy, science fiction, and gothic
stories. Psychological horror was often used in his stories.
He liked to write about things that would mess with a person’s mind and make them question their reality.
Some of his work includes The Call of Cthulhu, The Shadow Out of Time, and At the Mountains of Madness.
Characters and WorldsLovecraft is responsible for such characters as Cthulhu and Dagon, who were known as basically ancient Gods.He wrote about a cult called the Order of Dagon which was trying to make the ancient ones return to Earth.He created a whole world outside o reality.
The Death of a Genius MindIn his last few years alive, Lovecraft developed cancer of the small intestine and was malnourished. The money he made writing did not cover his expenses. He lived in constant pain until he died.
