HP Converged Infrastructure and ProLiant Tech TourBackground– On January 10 -11, 2011, HP invited industry bloggers to Dallas and
Houston, Texas.
– The event kicked off with a tour of the Dallas Cowboys data center. We met with Bill Haggard, the Cowboy’s IT manager to find out why they chose HP and how Converged Infrastructure optimizes the efficiency for the stadium and the 38 businesses his team manages with 13 staff members.
– The HP Houston campus hosted us on day two where we were given a deep dive into the innovative technology from the Industry Standards Servers ProLiant experts.

Our first day kicked off at the Dallas Cowboy’s stadium in Arlington, TX with two HP thought leaders, ProLiant’s Alyson Griffin and the CI team’s Duncan Campbell.
Both discussed innovations fromHP Converged Infrastructure bringing efficiency to the Dallas Cowboys technology.

– Supports 38-plus other business in more than 90 locations—all centralized
– Run by a staff of 13 people
– With a 100-terabyte SANs at the stadium and a remote location, it’s designed to support growth for the next15 to 20 years.
– 60-yard long, 70-foot tall high definition video screens running along the sidelines—they are the largest HD monitors in the world!
– 3100 monitors though out the stadium
