Harmon The meeting was called to order by President G. Kothe at 7:30. No Secretary’s Report. Treasurer’s report included a year end report with an approximate balance of $40,000. Delegate’s report- The annual election to the board included C. McAteerr, P. Cruz and W. Feeney. All three members were nominated from the floor, not the nominating committee. A motion to make delegate judges eligible to charge a $150 per day fee was defeated. A legislative conference will be held on July 22-24 in Raleigh, NC. A recommendation to not attend the June meeting was made and use the funds designated to send someone to the conference. Clubs in the Minnesota area have offered to pay partial expenses if the attendee would agree to speak at different club meetings/shows. Legislative report – A bill has been introduced, HR 3154, to track the information that was enacted in last year’s bill that regulated breeding. In committee at this point. April Obedience – All is ready. D. Racette reported that all stewards have been obtained. Hospitality is ready and trophies have been obtained for several of the breeds participating. A discussion was held regarding possible changes to our activities. An invitation has been made to the Land o” Lakes KC to hold their obedience shows in conjunction with our April shows. Obedience will be dropped from their January show. Cambridge will continue to assist with the Partners presentations. Several activities will be added to the January shows such as dog demonstrations/presentations on fun activities that can be done with your dog. Several other attractions are also being discussed. A letter has been written to St. Croix Valley KC to request permission for us to use Total Recall, which is in their territory, to use the site for April obedi-ence and August obedience for the next three years. June conformation – still waiting to have the premium list approved, request for volunteers to assist with hospitality was made, barn hunt has been added. Education committee report – attempts to have the February reading program at the North Branch Library were not successful. Sev-eral Cambridge members assisted with the Partners presentations at the January shows. The 4-H dog program activities that were held in Chisago County will be continued and Isanti County will be added. Microchips available to participants, speakers for class have been offered as well as prizes for the county level. We will participate in the Isanti County Fair’s Kid’s Day again this year. AKC handouts and Purina items will be obtained again this year. A request was made from the Isanti Agricultural Society for $6400 to sponsor a rescue dog pet trick activity. This event was not supported. The club assisted monetarily in the training for nineteen Cambridge firefighters for Basic Animal Rescue Training. A request for them to be a speaker at the January event was made. An additional donation was made for the continued support to the East Central Vet-erinarian Hospital for continued support of their puppy program, through offering $50 coupons towards the spay/neutering of young dogs. The nominating committee reported: G. Kothe- President, T. Goiffon – Secretary, W.Harmon – Board., C. Wirkunnen – Board. No new business. Meeting was adjourned at 8:30. Respectfully, Wayne Harmon acting Secretary Awards were given for titles earned to: B. Trana. S. Moody, K. Lawrenece, T. Peterson, G. Hofenins-Wackerfuss. T.Goiffon (absent) B.Peterson was awarded a Junior’s participation plaque. The AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship medallion was presented to Diane Racette. She works at both obedience weekends as well as

all four days of the conformation cluster.

Attendance: Tim. Bergeron, Wayne Harmon, Carol Wirkkunrn, Ric Majkrzk, Glen Koth, Theresa Goiffon The meeting was called to order by President G. Kothe at 8:00 p.m.. Secretary’s Report: None Treasurer’s Report : Tabled for now. Banquet dinner cost was $800, Trophies $576 and Prizes $280. Delegate’s Report: Next delegate meeting in June Wayne will not be attending. A legislative conference will be held on July 22-24 in Raleigh, NC. A recommendation to not attend the June meeting was made and use the funds designated to send someone to the conference. Clubs in the Minnesota area have offered to pay partial expenses if the attendee would agree to speak at different club meetings/shows. This was discussed at the March meeting, we are looking for someone to represent our club as well. Legislative Report: None Membership: 45 paid members more coming in. Old Business: Cluster: Tim finished the premium list. Everything is in order. The only option was for a condensed premium list it’s not possible to include all the specialty information due to added expenses. The catalogue will include all the specialties as well as the full-version will be available on line. The RV spots are under control and Ric will take care of it as always. New Business: We have a verbal approval for Spring obedience to move to Total Recall to combine with Land ‘O Lakes and Cambridge beginning in August for years 2017-2019. Bethany and Max Thompson bring home the ribbons!

Bethany’s Sparkling Dakota Stella earned her United Rally Obedience 1 title on 4-23-2016. Bethany's Dustyrd's Myah earned her Grand Champion conformation title on 4-23-2016. Bethany won Best Junior at the UKC show 2 on April 2nd, 2016. Bethany won best junior handler at show 1 of the German Shepherd Dog Alliance UKC show and Max won best junior handler at show 2 that day Max Thompson won Best Junior Handler at the UKC show on 4-24-2016. He also earned Total Junior both on 4-23-2016 and on 4-24-2016. Max Thompson and Sparkling Dakota Stella won Highest Scoring Junior in Trial and second place in Rally level 1 at the Rally Obedience trial held April 1st, 2016.
