Quick, concise and simple– The goal: The reader should know
everything about your company within 30 seconds• Who you are• What you do• Why they need you• How to contact you
– Short, easy to read sentences work best– Do not exceed high school age reading
level

Layout– Layout should lead the reader through your
thought process• Simple layout with bullets
– Emphasize certain points with accented bullets or highlights
– Line spacing• Always use at least 1.5 spacing
– Indentation• Try not to go all that way to the edge of the page

Call to Action: Not only provides interaction with customers, but also allows you to gauge the effectiveness of a campaign– Have deadline within a week– Give clear instructions on how to participate
• Call, email, text, etc.
– List location and hours along with call to action
