Food provides us with the necessary nutrients to grow and energy to study, walk...

We can divide the food into different groups:

- Group 1:

- Group 2:

Milk and its derivatives such as cheese, yoghurt… The food in group 1 has proteins, vitamins and mineralsand is good for our bones and muscles.

Meat, fish, eggs and pulses. They have proteins and vitamins.We need to eat food from group 2 to grow up strong and healthy.

- Group 3: Rice, pasta, bread, cakes and sugar. This kind of food has carbohydrates and provides us with the energy we need.

- Group 4: Fruit and vegetables. We need to eat food from group 4 because it has lots of vitamins.

Exercise

Exercise helps our muscles and our heart get stronger.

To prevent accidents and injuries when we do exercise :

- Warm up:

- Safe place:

This prevents possible muscle injuries.

Make sure the place is appropriate for exercise.

- Clothing:

- Safety:

Wear appropriate shoes and clothes.

Wear safety equipment:

- Helmet

- Elbow pads and knee pads

Germs cause diseases which can harm our body.Sleeping helps us grow.

Hygiene and Rest

We can avoid getting germs by

- Hands:

- Teeth:

We should wash our hands after going to the bathroom and before eating.

We must brush our teeth after eating to keep our teeth and gums clean and healthy.

- Rest: We can relax by reading a book, listening to music or watching a film.

- Sleep: We need to sleep to rest and recover. Sleeping helps us grow.
